Alex Conrad Schubert is an associate in Goodwin’s Business Law department and a member of its Technology and Life Sciences groups. Alex represents private and public life sciences companies in connection with mergers and acquisitions and other complex and strategic transactions. She also counsels companies on ongoing corporate matters and securities law matters. Alex joined Goodwin in 2026.

Prior to joining Goodwin, Alex was an associate in the Boston office of Ropes & Gray LLP.
While attending law school, Alex was a legal intern for the Honorable Mark G. Mastroianni of the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts. She also served as Executive Editor of the American Journal of Law and Medicine.

- Represented Eli Lilly in its pending up to $1.5 billion acquisition of Curevo*
- Represented Ginkgo Bioworks Holdings, Inc., in the divestiture of its biosecurity business to a consortium of investors, resulting in Ginkgo’s minority equity position in the newly established standalone private entity*
- Represented Novo Nordisk (Denmark) in its $5.2 billion acquisition of Akero Therapeutics*
- Represented National Amusements, Inc., in its sale to affiliates of Skydance Media in connection with the merger of Skydance Media with Paramount Global*
- Represented LPL Financial, the nation’s largest independent broker-dealer network, in numerous strategic transactions of investment advisory and financial planning firms*
- Represented MACOM Technology Solutions in its acquisition of the radio frequency business of Wolfspeed, Inc.*
- Represented MACOM Technology Solutions in its acquisitions of Linearizer Technology*
