David Anthony Serati is an associate in Goodwin’s Intellectual Property Litigation practice. He joined Goodwin in 2023.
David represents clients in complex intellectual property disputes in federal courts across the country, at the PTAB, and at the ITC. David represents both plaintiffs and defendants and has litigated cases across a wide range of industries and technologies, including network security, wireless communications, virtualization, cloud computing, streaming and broadcast media, semiconductors, consumer electronics, medical devices, and testing circuitry.
David is committed to pro bono matters, including representing tenants and a tenant organization in alleging harassment and discrimination against their landlords, a Guatemalan refugee in obtaining asylum, and assisting transgender individuals change their names.
Professional Activities
Prior to joining Goodwin, David was an associate at Ropes & Gray.
During law school, he was an editor of the Washington University Law Review. David also served as a clinical law student at the Intellectual Property Clinic at Washington University in St. Louis School of Law.
