Joseph Tawil is an associate in the firm’s Business Law department and a member of its Technology and Life Sciences groups. He represents emerging growth companies throughout the corporate lifecycle, including pre-incorporation planning and formation, venture capital and growth equity financings, mergers and acquisitions, public offerings, and general corporate representation and counseling. Joseph represents both private and public companies across a broad range of industries, including consumer and enterprise software, e-commerce, retail and consumer products, biotechnology and pharmaceuticals, proptech, medtech, media and entertainment, and alternative energy and other clean technologies. Joseph also represents venture capital, corporate, and other strategic investors, advising them on structuring and executing their investment transactions and portfolio dispositions. He joined Goodwin in 2025.

Previous Professional Experience
Prior to joining Goodwin, Joseph practiced for several years as corporate/M&A associate at a large international law firm in New York. In that role, he represented private equity funds and corporate clients in domestic and global mergers, acquisitions, equity investments and joint ventures.
He currently serves as the Chairman on United Hatzalah of Israel’s young leadership board.
