Monika Chawla Wagner is an associate in Goodwin’s Business Law department and a member of its Life Sciences group. Monika advises high-growth life sciences and technology companies in a broad range of transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, capital markets transactions, and venture financing deals. She also counsels companies on day-to-day corporate governance and strategic matters. She joined Goodwin in 2023.

In addition to her corporate work, Monika maintains an active pro bono practice, including representation of refugees and immigrants in asylum matters as well as tenants in housing disputes.

While attending law school, Monika was a legal intern at the United States Securities and Exchange Commission, and a student attorney at Villanova Law’s Federal Tax Clinic. She also served as Staff Writer and Managing Editor of Production of the Villanova Law Review.
