As Goodwin’s Chief Financial Officer, Christina Wong partners with C-suite leaders and their teams to drive business growth and financial performance at the firm. She is responsible for planning, directing, and controlling Goodwin’s financial planning and analysis, budgeting, pricing, accounting, forecasting, cash management, and billing and collections functions. With decades of financial performance, operational excellence, and strategic planning and execution experience, Christina is a trusted executive advisor skilled at forging collaborative and effective relationships with key stakeholders to maximize Goodwin’s finance and business functions.
Prior to joining Goodwin, Christina served as the CFO of Ankura Consulting Group, a global consulting firm, where she led the firm through various strategic initiatives, including obtaining Ankura’s first ever public debt ratings as well as a $700 million+ public debt refinancing. She also transformed and improved the operational efficiency of critical financial processes, including reducing billing cycles, improving cash collections, accelerating the monthly close process, and automating the accounts payable process.
Prior to Ankura, Christina spent nearly 30 years in various financial leadership roles at American Express, and was most recently the CFO of Global Merchant Services, which operates a global payments network to process and settle transactions and acquire merchants. She also served as CFO of American Express Bank Ltd. and CFO of the Business-to-Business Risk, Information, and Banking group.
