Dominic Wong

Dominic is a counsel in the firm’s Business Law Department and a member of its Private Investment Funds practice.

Mr. Wong’s practice focuses on advising private equity houses and investment managers on the establishment of funds, separate accounts and joint ventures in the private equity/venture capital, real estate, debt and infrastructure sectors in Asia, and related management, carried interest, and operational matters. Mr. Wong also advises on complex GP-led secondary transactions and fund restructurings as well as investors in relation to their fund investments.

Mr. Wong also has experience in corporate real estate transactions including structured acquisitions and disposals and joint venture arrangements.

Mr. Wong has been mentioned in the 2022 edition of The Legal 500 Asia Pacific, which quoted a client saying, “Dominic Wong manages our work seamlessly…he works tirelessly to meet deadlines, no matter how demanding”.

Mr. Wong has advised, among others, AEW Capital Management, Alpine Capital, Equis, GIC, Global Hospitality Investment Group, Hillhouse Investment, Korea Investment Corporation, LGT Capital Partners, LionRock Capital, M7 Asia, Partners Group, Tybourne Capital and Vy Capital.
