Stephen Yates joined the firm in 2019 and is the Director for Client Development in the London office. He and his team work closely with the practice leaders across all groups and practice areas including Real Estate, Private Investment Funds, Private Equity, Technology and Life Sciences. As lead in London, he is responsible for the planning and execution of strategic business development, marketing and communications in the UK. A large part of Stephen's role involves working with his peers in Europe and the US to ensure they are strategically aligned and are collaborative in their approach to market.
Prior to joining Goodwin, Stephen worked at law firms Ashurst and Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, and spent over four years at Preqin, where he managed the firm’s infrastructure and natural resources funds platform.
