Vincent Zhou

Vincent Zhou is a counsel in the firm's Business Law department and Private Equity group. Vincent’s practice focuses on private equity and corporate M&A transactions, representing both global and regional (Pan-Asia) private equity funds, public companies, Chinese state-owned enterprises, “unicorn” and growth companies, venture capital funds and various other institutional investors.

Vincent’s experience includes representing:

• Goldman Sachs in connection with the restructuring and IPO of its portfolio company in the auto parts area*
• MBK Partners in connection with its special shareholder arrangement of a portfolio company*
• Brain Asset Management in its US$500 million investment in SK pharmteco Inc., a U.S.-based leading global contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) under Korean conglomerate SK Inc.*
• A private equity fund as a consortium member in the US$1.4 billion take-private of Hollysys Automation Technologies Ltd. (NASDAQ: HOLI) *
• Hong Kong Monetary Authority in its investment in a U.S. biopharma company*
• PAG in its US$6.8 billion proposed sale of shares in Yingde Gases* 
• An investor consortium in its acquisition and development of the quick-service-restaurant business of SUBWAY® in China (named “Deals of the Year 2023” by China Business Law Journal)* 
• DST Global in its investment in a “unicorn” Chinese social media and lifestyle platform*
• DST Global in its investment into, exit from and management of various portfolio growth companies in China, Japan and South Korea*
