Join the New England Clean Energy Council as they unveil the work of their Offshore Wind Task Force. The Task Force -- which includes experts from development, transmission, finance, academic and regional/national trade organizations -- has been working on a recommendation to guide the six New England states toward coordinated procurement of renewable energy on a state-by-state basis that will roll into a regional effort. Securing efficient and reliable offtake of large-scale energy projects is critical to the health of the offshore wind and other renewable energy industries in New England.
The goal of this event is to present the first-draft findings of the Task Force and gather feedback from knowledgeable members of the offshore wind and renewable energy industry.
