BOSTON, Oct. 5, 2005 –TA Associates and Madison Dearborn Partners LLC, two leading buyout and private equity firms, today announced that they are each investing $300 million to complete a $739 million minority equity investment in MetroPCS Communications Inc., a rapidly growing provider of wireless communications services.
The partners from Goodwin Procter who represented TA Associates in this deal are Kevin Dennis and James Matarese.
