Goodwin partner Greg Fox was named an honoree for the American Bankruptcy Institute’s 2019 40 Under 40 initiative. The prestigious award recognizes emerging leaders in the insolvency community under the age of 40 and celebrates their achievements. Honorees were chosen from both large and small firms from every region of the country, and represent diverse practice areas such as law, finance, consulting, academia, government and more.
Fox is a partner in Goodwin’s Financial Restructuring practice, where he represents debtors, creditors, committees, investors, purchasers, and other parties-in-interest in bankruptcy proceedings, out-of-court restructurings and insolvency-related litigations. He was named a Rising Star in Bankruptcy by Super Lawyers and was recently honored by the Turnaround Management Association for his work as counsel for client Gibson Brands, Inc. in its Chapter 11 restructuring, which was named Mid-Size Company Transaction of the Year.
The American Bankruptcy Institute is the nation’s largest association of bankruptcy professionals with over 12,000 members. Established in 1982, the organization is committed to providing multi-disciplinary, non-partisan research and education on matters related to insolvency.
Fox will be recognized at a special ceremony during the American Bankruptcy Institute’s Winter Leadership Conference on December 5 in Rancho Palos Verdes, California.
