Chris Wilson to Receive the Hispanic National Bar Association’s Top Lawyers Under 40 Award

Goodwin partner Chris Wilson has been selected for the Hispanic National Bar Association’s Top Lawyers Under 40 Award. Wilson is a partner in Goodwin’s Boston office and member of the Private Equity group, where he specializes in advising private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies in a variety of transactions, including leveraged buyouts, mergers and acquisitions, recapitalizations, growth equity investments, strategic transactions, joint ventures and general corporate matters.

In addition to his practice, Wilson is on the leadership team of Goodwin’s Committee on Racial and Ethnic Diversity (CRED) in Boston, where he focuses on the firm’s diversity and inclusion efforts. He also co-founded and remains involved in Goodwin’s naturalization pro bono program, which organizes free legal clinics that assist underprivileged lawful permanent residents, primarily from communities of color, in navigating the naturalization process. Wilson has previously been named a Mergers & Acquisitions Trailblazer by The National Law Journal and an Emerging Leader by The M&A Advisor.

The Hispanic National Bar Association’s Top Lawyers Under 40 Award honors accomplished lawyers who have demonstrated professional excellence, integrity, leadership, commitment to the Hispanic community, and dedication to improving the legal profession. Wilson will be honored during the Hispanic National Bar Association’s Corporate Counsel Conference in Phoenix, Arizona on March 20, 2020.
