Partner Diana Brummer was recently named to New York Real Estate Journal’s 2020 Women in Real Estate Professional Services Spotlight, which recognizes the contributions of women specializing in the areas of real estate and professional services.
Brummer, a partner in the firm’s Real Estate Industry group, is noted for her work on complex joint ventures, senior, construction and mezzanine financings, acquisitions and dispositions, loan workouts, real estate recapitalizations and development matters. The publication also highlighted Brummer’s recent representation of a debt fund client providing a $295 million construction loan for the development of a site in Philadelphia. The six-month long negotiation process was particularly complex, involving three layers of debt, retail space, for-sale condos and rental apartments.
In addition to her practice, Brummer is a highly sought-after speaker on a variety of real estate matters, and has served as a panelist and moderator at numerous conferences around the world. She has also been named a leading lawyer by Chambers USA and Legal 500 US.
