Slow First Half for M&A Deals (Bloomberg Law)

Global mergers and acquisitions activity fell dramatically due to the coronavirus pandemic. The number of deals fell to 20,445 with an average deal size was $51.6 million in the first half of 2020, compared to the average deal size of $90.6 million over the first half of last year.
