Boston Business Journal Recognizes Goodwin As One Of The Largest Ip Firms In Massachusetts

Professionals

The Boston Business Journal has ranked Goodwin as the second largest Intellectual Property law firm in Massachusetts for 2020, representing a one spot increase over the previous year. The annual survey examines the number of Massachusetts-based IP lawyers, registered patent lawyers and support staff, as well as the amount of patents filed and obtained.

“Our growth over the past year stems from Goodwin’s continued work with clients in both the pharmaceutical and technology industries,” said IP Litigation Chair Daryl Wiesen. “As the firm positioned at the intersection of capital and innovation, our IP clients are always adapting to the disruption caused by technology, and we appreciate that they have asked us to partner with them as they innovate and invest throughout the entire corporate lifecycle.”

Goodwin’s Intellectual Property practice handles a diverse array of life sciences, technology and patent litigation matters for cutting-edge clients around the world. The team has been named Intellectual Property Practice Group of the Year by Law360 on five separate occasions, including 2019, and Goodwin’s IP lawyers are consistently recognized for excellence by leading publications such as Chambers, Legal 500, Managing Intellectual Property, IAM Patent 1000 and LMG Life Sciences.
