Based in the firm’s Silicon Valley office, Chatterjee is a partner in Goodwin’s Intellectual Property Litigation practice and serves on the firm’s Executive Committee. He has a proven track record of wins in high profile hard-to-win technology cases, and has represented some of Silicon Valley’s biggest companies globally followed disputes. Among numerous other honors, Chatterjee has previously been named an IP Vanguard by the California State Bar and an IP Trailblazer and Pioneer by National Law Journal. In 2005, he founded the Bay Area Diversity Career Fair, one of the most successful career fairs for the legal industry. Chatterjee has been repeatedly recognized by the Daily Journal as a Top Intellectual Property Lawyer for over a decade.

Schuman is the chair of Goodwin’s San Francisco office and a partner in the firm’s Intellectual Property Litigation group, where his expertise in patent and other IP litigation has made him a highly sought-after litigator in federal and state courts across the country. He also founded and co-chairs the firm’s Cannabis practice, advising U.S. and international businesses looking for guidance on the rapidly expanding industry. Schuman was recently named The American Lawyer’s Litigator of the Week for his work with Last Prisoner Project, as he secured compassionate release of an inmate serving a life sentence for a non-violent cannabis-related offense. He has also been recognized for excellence by National Law Journal and IAM Patent 1000.
