The American Lawyer ranked Goodwin as a top firm in its 2021 Midlevel Associates Survey.
The publication surveyed third-, fourth-, and fifth-year associates on several aspects of job satisfaction, including compensation and benefits; training and guidance; relations with partners and other associates; interest in and satisfaction level with the work; the firm’s policy on billable hours; and management’s openness about firm strategies and partnership chances.
In addition to ranking 21st in the US, Goodwin offices across the US and UK achieved the following high marks in the city-by-city rankings:
- 5th in Silicon Valley
- 5th in Washington, D.C.
- 6th in London
- 10th in Los Angeles (including Santa Monica)
- 12th in Boston
- 14th in New York
In addition to these rankings, associates gave Goodwin an overall satisfaction score of 4.401 out of 5.
