Professional Activities
While attending law school, Jackie served as Chief Articles Editor for the Texas Journal on Law & Technology and Vice President of Texas Law Fellowships, a nonprofit that fundraises for unpaid public interest internships. As a student-attorney, Jackie worked with Disability Rights Texas to help expand employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities. Jackie was also a Peggy Browning Fellow and worked as a research assistant on antidiscrimination issues.
Prior to attending law school, Jackie worked as an economic researcher at the Center for American Progress in Washington, D.C.
