Rebecca Wardle is a partner specialising in complex corporate disputes and fraud matters, with a practice spanning litigation, arbitration, and mediation, often involving cross-border elements. She advises private equity sponsors, investors, portfolio companies, financial institutions and growth businesses across the technology, life sciences, and financial services and fintech industries on high-value and strategically significant disputes.
Rebecca has particular expertise in shareholder, M&A, financing and post-closing disputes, including warranty and indemnity claims, earn-out disputes and unfair prejudice and derivative actions. She works closely with corporate teams to identify and mitigate litigation risk at the transaction stage and is regularly instructed on business-critical commercial contract disputes and enforcement strategies.
Rebecca’s practice also encompasses internal and external investigations, including matters involving UK, US and EU authorities. She previously completed a secondment to a global investment bank.
Rebecca is a member of the firm’s London Pro Bono Committee and leads the firm’s relationship with a local legal advice centre. She serves as co-head of the firm’s “First Gen” social mobility inclusion group.
