Jason Goldfarb is an associate in the firm’s Technology Companies group. Jason advises companies throughout their corporate lifecycle. He works with clients in a wide range of matters, including company formation, seed, venture capital and growth equity financings, mergers and acquisitions, public offerings, capital markets transactions and SEC compliance. His representations span a variety of industries, including digital media, 3D printing, fantasy sports, cannabis, beverage, digital currency, NFTs and blockchain, fintech, proptech, healthcare tech, mobile applications, enterprise software and biotech. Jason also works with venture capital investors, advising them on structuring and executing their investment transactions. He joined Goodwin in 2017.

Professional Activities

Jason has served as an instructor of “Forming and Financing a Start-Up Business,” a semester-long course at the Boston University School of Law. He has also served as a mentor for the MIT $100K Business Plan Competition.

Professional Experience

While in law school, Jason worked as an intern at National Public Radio, Inc. and at the U.S. Attorney’s Office’s National Security Division in Washington, DC. He also served as Managing Editor of the Journal of National Security Law & Policy.
