Ms. Tajima counsels a broad range of clients, including public and private companies, private equity firms, and financial services firms, in both transactional and litigation contexts. She has extensive experience negotiating R&W, D&O and other insurance policies. She also advises clients regarding the scope of insurance coverage and related indemnification obligations and advocates for clients throughout the claims process. In addition to her insurance-related experience, Ms. Tajima has significant litigation experience defending securities litigation, ERISA litigation and government investigations.
Ai Tajima is a counsel in Goodwin’s Complex Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice, and concentrates her practice on advising and advocating for clients on insurance matters as a member of the Risk Management & Insurance practice. She joined Goodwin in 2007.
Ms. Tajima was the recipient of the Suffolk University Law Faculty Outstanding Student Award-Evening Division at graduation. During law school, Ms. Tajima received Jurisprudence Awards for Constitutional Law, Commercial Law Sales, Criminal Law and Professional Responsibility.
She was also a member of the Moot Court Board and the Journal of Trial and Appellate Advocacy, and participated in the Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition.
