Alicia Tschirhart is a counsel in Goodwin’s Life Sciences group. She focuses her practice on the representation of private and public companies in the life sciences, biotechnology, medical device and healthcare industries. Ms. Tschirhart counsel companies as a legal and business adviser throughout their corporate lifecycle from the startup stage through capital raises, acquisitions, IPOs and exit transactions. She regularly counsels clients on pre-incorporation planning, seed and venture financings, initial public offerings and capital markets transactions, SEC compliance, mergers and acquisitions and also advises on commercial agreements. Ms. Tschirhart also regularly represents investors, issuers and underwriters in public and private corporate financing transactions.

Professional Experience

Prior to re-joining Goodwin in 2021, Ms. Tschirhart was a counsel at VLP Law Group LLP. Previously, she was an associate in the San Diego offices of Gunderson Dettmer LLP, DLA Piper LLP and Sheppard Mullin LLP. Ms. Tschirhart was also an associate in the former San Diego office of Goodwin from 2011-2013. Ms. Tschirhart began her career at Cahill Gordon & Reindel LLP in New York.
