New York Diversity Event: Zach Wahls

In the second installment of the “Good Conversation” series, Goodwin Procter welcomes Zach Wahls, bestselling author and influential voice in the LGBTQ civil rights movement. In 2011, Zach Wahls rocketed to national prominence when his Iowa House Judiciary Committee testimony in opposition to a proposed constitutional amendment to ban same-sex marriage went viral and became the most-watched political video of the year.  Zach’s story is particularly timely given the recent Supreme Court ruling regarding state same-sex marriage bans.
