Career Strategies Conference For Law Firm Associates

On April 6th, Corporate Counsel Women of Color will host its Law Firm Associates Conference. Mike Caplan, the firm’s chief operating officer, will speak on the panel, "Beyond Billable Hours: Understanding the Current Business Needs of Law Firms and Corporate Clients." The ever-changing business model calls for associates to be even more aware of what drives law firms’ and corporate clients’ business. During this presentation, law firm associates will learn what trends currently impact law firms and corporations. The presentation will also provide an overview of the qualitative numbers for firms (e.g., return on investments, realization rates, standard billing, distinguishing between write-downs and write-offs).
