BOSTON, Dec. 5, 2005 — Goodwin Procter LLP, a leading national law firm with offices in Boston, New York and Washington, DC, today announced the addition of Christopher J. Denn to its Life Sciences Practice. Denn joins the firm as partner in its Boston office.
Denn’s practice in focused on advising companies in the commercialization of intellectual property, including through licensing, strategic collaborations and joint ventures. Denn’s clients include both emerging and established drug and medical devices manufacturers. Denn previously held various positions at AstraZeneca, a global pharmaceutical company, where his responsibilities included negotiating and drafting license agreements for drug compounds and related technology, and providing legal support for a broad range of drug discovery, product development, and sales and marketing efforts.
Prior to joining Goodwin Procter, Denn was a partner at Mintz Levin Cohn Ferris Glovsky and Popeo. He received his B.A. from Connecticut College, his J.D., cum laude, from Boston College Law School and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
