Jan. 10, 2007 - DiamondRock Hospitality Company today announced that it plans to sell 14,500,000 shares of its common stock in an underwritten public offering. The company also plans to grant the underwriters an option to purchase up to an additional 2,175,000 shares of common stock to cover over-allotments, if any. All of the shares will be offered by the company and will be issued under the company's currently effective shelf registration statement filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
DiamondRock is a self-advised real estate investment trust that is an owner and acquirer of premium hotel properties, owning 20 hotels with more than 9,000 rooms.
