In April, Goodwin Procter client, Paperless Post, completed a $6 million Series D financing led by RRE Ventures. Also participating in the financing were Tim Draper, Founder and a Managing Director of Draper Fisher Jurvetson, and SV-Angel, a prominent angel fund based in Silicon Valley.
Founded in New York City in September 2008, Paperless Post is an emerging growth company that develops and operates a web-based and mobile software platform that enables users to prepare and send custom, personalized invitations, announcements and digital stationery.
In a May 7 article, TechCrunch described Paperless post as “the anti-Evite, aiming to allow consumers to create sleek, design-focused, personalized invitations that deliver the same quality as paper stationery.”
“We are very pleased to be represented by Goodwin Procter attorneys,” said Meg Hirschfield, In-House Counsel at Paperless Post. “This round was another great example of good lawyers with judgment helping a start-up gain ground.”
