Goodwin Procter partner Larry Chu was recently honored as one of five finalists in the Transatlantic Corporate Dealmaker (US) category at The American Lawyer’s new Transatlantic Legal Awards. The awards highlight attorneys and law firms who have led on noteworthy transatlantic matters, including on corporate, finance and litigation work, as well as those who have excelled at innovation, pro bono and strategy, among other things.
In the last year, Chu has led Goodwin teams advising on a number of high profile transactions including Dropcam’s sale to Nest, lynda.com’s sale to LinkedIn, Rakuten’s acquisition of Ebates, Flurry’s sale to Yahoo, Trunk Club’s sale to Nordstrom and Pentaho’s sale to Hitachi Data Systems, among others.
In 2014, Chu was named one of six finalists in the Legal Advisor of the Year category at the 13th Annual M&A Advisor Awards. He was also included on the Top 50 North American M&A Lawyers list by Global M&A Network.
