Goodwin Advised Syntetica on Its $30 Million Series A Financing

The Goodwin Technology team advised Syntetica, a deeptech company developing innovative textile recycling technologies, on its $30 million Series A financing.

The round was led by Bpifrance, SWEN Capital Partners, and Lululemon, with participation from Syntetica’s existing investors, including EQT, as well as several business angels.

The proceeds will enable Syntetica to continue the industrialization of its recycling technology and support the development of its first commercial demonstration facility in France, in partnership with Michelin’s Sustainable Materials Center in Clermont-Ferrand.

Syntetica has developed a proprietary chemical recycling technology that enables the recovery and reuse of synthetic materials from complex textile waste, contributing to the development of more circular and sustainable supply chains.

The Goodwin team was led by Xavier Leroux, Louis Taslé d’Héliand, Charlotte Muller, and Alice Borgida on the corporate aspects of the transaction.
