Sarah Axtell was announced as a Law360 Rising Star” in Capital Markets. The annual award recognizes emerging legal industry leaders who have reached a significant level of achievement before the age of 40.
Axtell is a partner-elect in the firm’s Business Law Department and a member of its Technology & Life Sciences group. Based in the Silicon Valley office, she specializes in all areas of corporate and securities laws, with a primary focus on advising emerging-growth technology companies and capital markets transactions.
Recently, Axtell played a key role in the innovative Slack Technologies, Inc. direct listing, which valued the company at approximately $20 billion. She was also part of the team advising the underwriting syndicate in Lyft, Inc.’s March 2019 IPO that raised $2.34 billion.
