Goodwin has been named the Law Firm of the Year in France for 2021 by Private Equity Magazine. Leaders of Goodwin’s Paris office were presented the award at the annual Grands Prix ceremony, which took place on October 11.
This honor recognizes the recent work of the Paris Private Equity team as well as its many significant accomplishments since the office opened in 2016. As the pace of European deal making has rapidly increased across the continent, Goodwin’s Private Equity practice in Paris has established itself as one of the top private equity and M+A groups in France, with extensive experience spanning all areas of middle market private equity and growth equity.
Among Goodwin Paris’s recent matters are some of the biggest mandates in the French market. This includes representing Cerba Healthcare on its sale to EQT Private Equity – one of the largest LBOs in France, IK Investment Partners on the sale of the Colisée group to EQT Infrastructure and CDPQ, and Equistone Partners Europe on the sale of Adista to Keensight Capital. In terms of private investment funds, Goodwin recently advised Antin Infrastructure Partners on the €6.5 billion fundraising of Antin Infrastructure Partners IV and the €2.2 billion fundraising of Antin Infrastructure Partners Mid Cap Fund, as well as Committed Advisors on the €1.6 billion fundraising of Committed Advisors Secondary Fund IV.
