Eram Khan has been appointed to Goodwin's London office, after joining the firm's Antitrust & Competition practice as a partner on 4 January. Khan tells CDR: “A range of factors made the role attractive, and of course the partnership opportunity. It’s not very often you come across a role where you can be quite central to the build-out of a practice in the competition space.” She continued, “I’ve been a lifer at Linklaters since I qualified, but I thought it was the right opportunity and I didn’t want to let it pass.” Her arrival marks the next step in Goodwin’s strategy to expand its European Antitrust & Competition practice, following its launch by London partner Sarah Jordan in March 2022. Khan’s appointment follows Goodwin’s hiring of counsel Charlotte Brunsdon and associates Sophie Entwisle, and Anuj Ghai to the Antitrust & Competition group in late 2022.
