Eram Khan has been appointed to Goodwin's London office, after joining the firm's Antitrust & Competition practice as a partner on 4 January. Khan tells CDR: “A range of factors made the role attractive, and of course the partnership opportunity. It’s not very often you come across a role where you can be quite central to the build-out of a practice in the competition space.” She continued, “I’ve been a lifer at Linklaters since I qualified, but I thought it was the right opportunity and I didn’t want to let it pass.” Her arrival marks the next step in Goodwin’s strategy to expand its European Antitrust & Competition practice, following its launch by London partner Sarah Jordan in March 2022. Khan’s appointment follows Goodwin’s hiring of counsel Charlotte Brunsdon and associate Anuj Ghai to the Antitrust & Competition group in late 2022.
