Goodwin today announced that Adam Dilluvio has joined the firm’s Life Sciences group and Healthcare practice, as a partner in its New York office.
“Adam brings an impressive combination of transactional depth and relationship-driven client service that aligns perfectly with our vision for the Life Sciences and Healthcare practices,” said Chris Wilson, co-chair of Goodwin’s Healthcare practice. “His M&A background, coupled with both law firm and in-house experience, will bolster our team’s expertise as we continue to guide clients in this ever-changing industry.”
Adam brings a breadth of expertise advising life sciences companies across the full spectrum of the corporate lifecycle, with extensive experience advising on mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, minority investments, early-stage financings, restructurings, carve-outs, joint ventures and strategic licenses. Adam joins Goodwin from Gurnet Point Capital, a private equity firm specializing in life sciences and healthcare investments. As General Counsel, he was responsible for leading all of the firm’s legal and compliance functions. During his time at Gurnet Point, he also served as General Counsel and director for several portfolio companies and investment vehicles, partnering closely with industry founders and operators while advising on corporate governance, regulatory matters, and other key operational and strategic issues.
Adam’s arrival follows the firm's recent additions of partners Dr. Bill Christiansen and Felipe Heiderich to its Life Sciences practice.
