The Paris Private Equity team advised Fremman Capital, a pan-European investment firm, on the signing of a put option agreement, together with Chequers Capital, for the acquisition of Bertin Technologies from FCDE and BNP Paribas Développement.
Founded in 1956 and independent since 2022, Bertin Technologies is a leading European provider of high-technology instrumentation solutions for critical and scientific applications. The group operates through four divisions: Nuclear, Photonics, Defence & Security and Life Sciences.
The contemplated transaction is subject to the consultation of the relevant employee representative bodies and any regulatory approvals that may be required.
