Anu Balasubramanian is set to join Goodwin’s growing Private Equity sector alongside fellow partners Jamie Holdoway and Chetan Sheth. In June, she advised longstanding client Arbry on its strategic partnership with Burgess Hodgson. Last year, she counselled Oakley on the sale of its majority stake in Ocean Technologies Group to Lloyd’s Register. Holdoway has advised a range of financial sponsors, including Oakley Capital and Marlin Equity Partners. He advised Marlin on its growth investment in Open Asset Enterprises alongside Balasubramanian. Sheth, who made partner in July this year, has also advised Oakley Capital on multiple deals, including on the sale of its majority stake in Ocean Technologies Group last year. “We are excited to join forces with Anu, Jamie, and Chetan in scaling our market-leading European private equity offering,” said Carl Bradshaw, a London-based partner in Goodwin’s Private Equity practice.
