Goodwin Advises atania on Financing of the Merger With LKC Group

Goodwin has advised tax, audit, and transaction advisory platform atania (“atania”), a portfolio company of GREENPEAK Partners (“GREENPEAK”), on the financing of its partnership with LKC Group (“LKC”). The new partnership will further strengthen the joint positioning of both companies as a leading platform for tax advisory and audit services and will support LKC’s continued growth as part of atania Group.

LKC is an association comprising more than 30 companies with around 700 employees and is one of the leading providers of tax advisory and audit services in southern Germany. As part of the long-term strategic partnership with atania, LKC will continue to operate with its decentralized identity and strong client proximity. The three founders, Nicolas Kemper, Dr. Stefan Berz, and Dr. Franz-Stephan von Gronau, will continue to direct operations, while Nicolas Kemper will also join the atania leadership team.

atania is an independent platform initiated by GREENPEAK Partners for tax advisory, audit, transaction, transformation, and related services. Founded in 2025, the group primarily serves mid-sized companies in Germany and beyond.
