Goodwin Expands California Litigation Platform With Cheryl O’Connor in Orange County
Global law firm Goodwin today announced that Cheryl O’Connor has joined the firm as a partner in its Complex Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice in the Orange County office.
“Cheryl joins Goodwin with an impressive trial experience and a background in government service that positions her well to advise on complex matters,” said Caroline Bullerjahn, partner at Goodwin. “She has built a strong reputation as a trusted advisor on high-stakes, business-critical disputes and brings a pragmatic, client-focused approach that aligns closely with our litigation platform. Her arrival further strengthens our ability to deliver exceptional litigation counsel to clients in Orange County and across California.”
Cheryl is a seasoned, first-chair trial lawyer with more than two decades of experience leading high-stakes civil and criminal matters. She represents companies and executives in complex litigation and government investigations, with a focus on privacy, consumer protection, trade secret and unfair competition disputes, and False Claims Act matters. Cheryl’s addition builds on the firm’s recent expansion in Orange County, including the arrival of leading cybersecurity, privacy, and technology litigators Richard Grabowski, John Vogt, Ryan Ball, and Michelle Blum. Together, the team enhances Goodwin’s ability to serve clients across technology, consumer financial services, and innovation-driven industries.
