Anu Balasubramanian moved to Goodwin earlier this year alongside private equity partners Jamie Holdoway and Chetan Sheth. She is chair of European Private Equity at Goodwin, leading teams across London, Paris, Munich, Brussels and Luxembourg. Born and raised in India, she studied in Delhi before completing a masters at Cambridge University. She is a member of the England and Wales and Indian bar councils. The London office of Goodwin, where Balasubramanian is based, recorded double-digit revenue growth in 2025 to hit $225 million, The Lawyer reported in March. Balasubramanian also runs a network of women from different industries who discuss challenges faced by women of color.
