Goodwin’s Heath Ingram and Freddie Akrouche Named to Bloomberg Law’s They’ve Got Next: The 40 Under 40
Goodwin lawyers Heath Ingram and Freddie Akrouche have been named to the 2026 edition of Bloomberg Law’s They’ve Got Next: The 40 Under 40. Heath was selected in the Healthcare and Life Sciences categories, and Freddie was selected in the Real Estate category. Bloomberg Law’s annual list honors elite young lawyers across practices who excel in client service, take on significant leadership roles, and are also dedicated to mentorship and pro bono work.
Heath is a partner in Goodwin’s Life Sciences and Healthcare industry groups, where he represents life sciences and healthcare companies at all stages of development, as well as venture capital and private equity firms focused on the life sciences industry. As Director of the Goodwin Center for Market Access and Pricing, he helps companies manage regulation, litigation, and enforcement across the drug supply chain and promote access to medicine. Heath partners with drug and device companies to provide strategic legal counsel on market access as well as product launches, advise pricing committees, solve complex regulatory problems, navigate drug price reporting regulations and audits, design and execute compliance programs, lead internal and external investigations, conduct risk assessments, and aggressively defend clients in healthcare-related whistleblower litigation and enforcement proceedings. Heath co-founded OUTbio Greater New York, a nonprofit dedicated to advancing LGBTQ equality and wellness in the life sciences industry. He is also a lead external counsel for The Trevor Project. Heath was named an LGBTQ Biopharma Industry Leader by Endpoints News and a Life Sciences industry Rising Star by Law360.
Freddie is a partner in Goodwin’s Real Estate industry group. Known for building strategic partnerships with clients and colleagues during his 15 years of practice, he focuses his practice on complex real estate transactions and client counseling, including sophisticated joint ventures, restructurings and recapitalizations, mortgage, construction, and mezzanine financings and workouts, and asset-level and entity-level acquisitions and dispositions. He also advises commercial real estate investment managers on structuring bespoke investment vehicles for real estate investment sponsors and investor accounts. Freddie serves on various internal committees, where he advises on firmwide and Real Estate strategic initiatives. His pro bono practice focuses on community-driven real estate projects, helping local organizations preserve heritage, expand green infrastructure, and create civic and cultural spaces across Massachusetts. In addition to this honor, Freddie has been ranked by Chambers USA annually since 2020 and by The Legal 500 United States annually since 2024 for his work in the real estate industry.
