Dr. Caroline Connors is a Science Advisor in Goodwin’s Business Law department and a member of its Life Science Intellectual Property group in the Philadelphia office. She joined Goodwin in 2024.
At Goodwin, Dr. Connors has assisted clients with patent preparation and prosecution, as well as with patentability, freedom-to-operate, and competitive landscape analyses. She has worked with clients across a range of technologies, including antibody-based therapeutics, gene therapies, and small molecule drug development. She also has experience supporting clients developing life science tools and instrumentation.

Previous Professional Experience
Prior to joining Goodwin, Dr. Connors earned her PhD in Cell Biology from Columbia University. Her research focused on cell type-specific mechanisms that promote robust cytokinesis. While at Columbia, Dr. Connors was a fellow at Columbia Technology Ventures, the university’s technology transfer office. Her background includes extensive training in neuroscience, molecular biology, cell biology, genetics, and advanced microscopy.
