Laura Horowitz is an associate in Goodwin’s Employment practice, where she advises employers on a broad spectrum of labor and employment matters such as restrictive covenants, employee handbooks, leaves of absence, workplace investigations, and claims involving discrimination and harassment. Laura provides counsel throughout the employment lifecycle, guiding clients on hiring, performance management, and separations. She represents employers across industries, including financial services, private equity, healthcare, and technology. In addition, Laura maintains an active pro bono practice, regularly providing employment counseling to non-profit organizations.
Previous Experience
Before joining Goodwin, Laura practiced as an Employment associate at a New York law firm. During law school, she interned with the Idaho Federal Defenders’ Capital Habeas Unit and was a student attorney in the Duke Law Health Justice Clinic.
