Emmie Jones is a partner in Goodwin’s Technology group. She advises fast-growing companies and investors on a wide range of corporate matters throughout the entire corporate life cycle. Emmie has significant experience working with founders, growth investors, private equity firms, and corporate venture capital funds on investments, acquisitions, disposals, and equity transactions.

Emmie’s representative experience includes advising:
- GRIDSERVE, a tech-enabled sustainable energy business providing advanced hybrid solar and battery farms, on the £200 million investment by Infracapital and TPG Rise.*
- DNeG, an award-winning visual effects, animation, and creative technologies business, on a $100m subscription by Al Saqer Group.*
- Adrian Binks, chairman and chief executive of the Argus Media Group, a leading independent provider of intelligence to the global energy and commodity markets, on a strategic agreement to support its next phase of growth involving General Atlantic and Argus itself acquiring shares from existing minority shareholder, Hg, and Mr. Binks becoming the majority shareholder of Argus.*
- The senior management team of Kobalt Music Group Limited on the implementation of an equity incentive plan by the new majority shareholder, Francisco Partners.*
- Motive Capital Partners (a New York and London-based fintech investor) on its acquisition of the With Intelligence group (a provider of data and intelligence to the asset management industry) from Intermediate Capital Group and certain management shareholders.*
- SoftBank Vision Fund as lead investor on numerous transactions, including on its investments into:
- Energy Vault, a start-up using ground-breaking technology to facilitate long term energy storage.*
- OakNorth, the British unicorn challenger bank, at the time this was the largest-ever European FinTech fundraising.*
- OurCrowd, a global venture investing platform.*
- Pace Revenue, a UK-based revenue management and dynamic pricing platform within the hospitality industry on the sale of its entire issued share capital to FLYR, Inc., a Series C stage US business which operates a revenue management platform for airlines.*
- Habito, an online mortgage broker servicing the UK which created the world's first robo-adviser for regulated mortgage advice, on several financing rounds, including its Series C, D and E fundraisings.*
