Goodwin London Revenue Surpasses $225 Million (The Lawyer)

Goodwin’s London office has recorded another year of double-digit growth, with revenue surpassing $225 million for the first time. The London office generated $226.4 million in revenue in 2025, reflecting a 12.7 per cent increase from $200.9 million the previous year. The latest figures continue the firm’s strong growth trajectory in the city, where revenue has climbed steadily since 2021, when turnover stood at $161.3 million, following a surge during the pandemic-era transactional boom. London leadership pointed to continued strength across the firm’s core industry groups as the main driver of growth, particularly within private equity, technology, life sciences, and real estate. Transactional teams across these areas delivered strong performances, alongside the firm’s investment funds practice, with an increasing focus on complex, multi-jurisdictional mandates. The office is also expected to play a key role in the firm’s long-term Goodwin 2033 strategy, which focuses on deepening its industry-led approach across core sectors including private equity, technology, life sciences, and real estate. The firm has continued to invest in the city through a series of partner hires over the past year, strengthening its corporate, finance, and technology capabilities. Recent additions include technology partner Colm Murphy, alongside corporate partners Anu Balasubramanian, Jamie Holdoway, Chetan Sheth, and Emmie Jones. On the finance side, the firm added Matthew Ayre and Tom Roberts, further expanding its transactional bench.
