Runjhun Kudaisya is a partner in Goodwin’s Private Equity group and a member of the firm’s Private Investment Funds practice. Runjhun has extensive experience advising asset managers on various aspects of fund formation and investment adviser matters. She counsels clients on structure, formation, launch, capital raising, and ongoing operating of investment funds (closed-ended, open-ended and hybrid), including private equity, infrastructure, real estate, debt, hedge funds, separate account arrangements, "fund-of-one" structures, and customized investment products. Her clients include institutional asset managers as well as startup managers.
Runjhun also advises investment advisers in regulatory and compliance matters, including registration and compliance policies and procedures. She advises on funds-related investment and strategic transactions such as co-investments and seed capital arrangements. She has also counseled fund managers faced with succession planning and conflict resolving.
Runjhun also counsels institutional investors such as sovereign wealth funds, fund of funds, and public pension plans, in connection with their investments into private investment funds across various asset classes and strategies.

Prior to joining Goodwin, Runjhun was most recently Of Counsel in the Investment Management Practice of Paul Hastings.
Prior to joining Paul Hastings, Runjhun was the assistant general counsel at a global asset manager and a private funds associate at another nationally recognized law firm. Runjhun began her legal career as a manager in the corporate legal group at ICICI Bank, Ltd. in New Delhi, India.
