Kevin Lange is a science advisor and registered patent agent in Goodwin’s Life Sciences IP practice group. He joined Goodwin in 2020. Dr. Lange assists clients with a number of aspects related to intellectual property protections for life sciences innovations, including patent preparation, patent prosecution, freedom-to-operate analysis, and IP due diligence. Dr. Lange earned his PhD from Indiana University School of Medicine. His doctoral research focused on signaling pathways underlying tumor cell invasion.
Experience
Dr. Lange has worked extensively in research throughout his graduate and undergraduate career. As an undergraduate student, he performed research in a diverse array of fields including organic synthesis, targeted drug development, and chemical biology. As a graduate student, he performed his dissertation research on the mechanisms underlying glioblastoma cell invasion and oxygen sensing.
