Dylan Major

Dylan Major is an associate in the firm’s Business Law department and a member of its Private Equity group. Dylan concentrates his practice primarily on mergers and acquisitions, with an emphasis on representing private equity funds and their portfolio companies. He also represents public and private companies and their sponsors on transactions and other general corporate matters in a broad range of industries, including technology and software, manufacturing, energy, consumer products, food and beverage, entertainment, sports and financial services. Dylan joined Goodwin in 2026. Dylan is admitted to practice in New York only. He is working under the supervision of the Philadelphia partners at Goodwin.

Prior to joining Goodwin, Dylan practiced for several years as an M&A associate at Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP in New York, NY. Some of Dylan’s recent representative matters include:

• Represented private equity sponsor on its acquisition of industrial laundry business.*
• Represented a family-owned global chemical manufacturer on its sale to private equity sponsor.*
• Represented private equity sponsor on its investment into a new sports-related investment platform.*
• Represented global marketing company on its acquisition of portfolio company.*
• Represented private equity sponsor on its acquisition of industrial fire suppression business.*
• Represented US public company on its acquisition of building-materials company.*
• Represented US public company on its acquisition of Texas-based refuse and recycling business.*
• Represented US public company on its acquisition of US-based railroad company.*
