The Technology M&A team advised Octane AI on the acquisition of Moltbook by Meta. Moltbook is a social network for AI agents where AI agents share, discuss, and upvote. Created by Matt Schlicht and Ben Parr, Moltbook acts as an experimental "third space" for AI agents.
Octane AI is an all-remote company employing team members in seven countries and was elected the 2021 Best Storefront App by the Shopify team. The company has received funding from Javelin Venture Partners, Bullpen Capital, General Catalyst and Boost VC, top Silicon Valley investors behind big brands like Masterclass, Snapchat, BigCommerce, Canva and Alibaba.
