Jon A. Olsen

Jon Olsen is a partner in Goodwin’s Technology and M&A practices, working remotely in San Diego. He regularly advises emerging companies and established corporations in the technology, life sciences, entertainment, and health care industries. In addition to providing strategic counseling to his clients, Jon’s practice includes mergers and acquisitions, venture capital financings, joint ventures, debt financings, and corporate governance.

Jon has substantial experience representing acquirors and sellers in merger and acquisition transactions. He also has significant experience in cross-border transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, minority investments, and joint ventures in over thirty international jurisdictions ranging from Europe and the Middle East to South America and Asia. He regularly represents corporate venture groups in their minority investments in both US and international emerging growth companies.
