Sofia Polishchuk is an associate in Goodwin’s Global Trade practice and a member of the Business Law department. Sofia joined Goodwin in 2025. Sofia’s application to the DC bar is pending; her practice is supervised by DC -admitted lawyers at Goodwin.

Professional Experience

Prior to joining Goodwin, Sofia worked in the political section of the Permanent Mission of Ukraine to the United Nations. Recognized as a “Leader for Tomorrow” by the United Nations Office for Disarmament Affairs, Sofia represented the voices of young people in global security discussions around the world.

During law school, Sofia specialized in national security and foreign relations law. She served as the Executive Production Editor of the George Washington International Law Review and as a research assistant to Professor Sean D. Murphy. Sofia has completed post-graduate training at Harvard University, Oxford University, and The Hague Academy of International Law.

Outside of legal practice, Sofia serves as the Executive Director of the Children of Ukraine Foundation, a 501(c)(3) public charity that provides humanitarian assistance to Ukrainian children.
