Rachel Samec is an associate in Goodwin’s Private Investment Funds practice. Prior to joining Goodwin, she worked in Cooley’s Fund Formation practice group for three years. Her practice is focused on the formation and operation of private investment funds, including venture capital funds, private equity funds and fund of funds. She primarily represents fund sponsors but also has experience counseling corporate and family office investors with regard to their fund investments.
While studying at UCLA School of Law, she was a member of the transactional law team, managing editor of the Journal of International Law and Foreign Affairs and a research assistant for Professor Richard Steinberg. She graduated in 2019 with a specialization in Business Law.
